Sometimes the best things in life are right in front of you. Don’t let your phone or small issues stop you from enjoying the moment.
Animal Rights has never been a major issue for me so please do not believe I go in search of animal images. If we look closely the images I capture are all around us.
During a vacation to Orlando, FL I came across a beautiful dolphin tank at Islands of Adventure. I didn’t see a Dolphin so I went in search of it. Sadly I found this beautiful creature hovering by its trap door. On the other side were the other Dolphins. These beautiful animals can think and have feelings.
There are so many things I want to say about this image. Shot on film using a Diana, spontaneously and nervous because what I saw I so desperately wanted to share with the world…
Recently I had the opportunity to take a relaxing and fun trip to the Dominican Republic. Faced with the questions of whether I would have enough time, wanted to carry my camera and if it would be safe I ultimately chose to bring it. After escaping the sun I decided to take some shots, but at the end of the trip I found my favorite shot on the way home…
Photography is a tool used to take us somewhere. We either go back in time or to a time yet to come. It allows us to make a reality of what we see or dream.
Los Angeles Airport. Weekends come and then they go. This weekend I got to shoot along side Melissa Rodwell (who totally ROCKS my world). She is an outstanding photographer, an outstanding person and most impressive of all, just herself. Unfortunately the weekend came to an end and a red eye flight across country awaited me. Life is good, got to see good friends, make new friends and capture some amazing images.
On the way home from San Francisco I was enjoying the silence and thinking of what a great weekend it had been. Kudos to Lindsay Adler and my fellow photographers. I turned around and instantly recognized this was a moment I wanted to forever remember.
